In India, the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced is one of the most difficult and esteemed engineering entrance exams. Notification for JEE Advanced

The official JEE Advanced document has been made available online at jeeadv.ac.in by IIT Madras. To learn about the exam dates, exam zones, and eligibility requirements for JEE Advanced, candidates can refer to the information brochure. On May 26, 2024, the authority will administer the JEE Advanced exam. A candidate may apply for the JEE Advanced 2024 exam if they are among the top 2,50,000 JEE Main exam qualifiers. Eligibility Criteria for JEE Advanced 2024

Candidates must place in the top 2,50,000 of the JEE Main 2024 BE/BTech paper to apply. Applicants must have been born on October 1, 1999, or later. Candidates who fall into the SC, ST, and PwD categories are eligible for an age relaxation of five years.

Age Restriction

The main requirement for participating in JEE Advanced is passing the JEE Main exam. The JEE Main qualifying exam is the first step, and candidates can advance only if they place in the top percentile.

Number of Attempts

For JEE Advanced 2024, candidates need to be born on or after October 1, 1999, to meet the age requirements. Candidates from reserved categories are granted accommodations, guaranteeing an equal chance for everyone.

Qualifications for Education

Candidates must be eligible if they passed their Class 12 or equivalent exam in 2022 or 2023. Moreover, applicants who plan to take the qualifying exam in 2024 are also qualified

Results of the Qualifying Exam

To qualify, applicants must rank among the top 2,50,000 JEE Main winners, who are divided into two lists: the Common Merit List (CML) and lists specifically for OBC-NCL, SC, ST, and PwD candidates.

Minimum requirements for subjects

For their qualifying exam, candidates must have studied mathematics, chemistry, and physics. Furthermore, achieving a certain grade in each of these subjects is essential for eligibility.  

Syllabus for JEE Advanced 2024

To be eligible for JEE Advanced 2024, candidates must have placed among the top 2.5 lakh rank holders in the JEE Main exam. There will be two papers for the exam, each lasting three hours. Maths, Physics, and Chemistry will be covered in Papers 1 and 2. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and other comparable boards' Class 11 and Class 12 courses serve as the foundation for the JEE Advanced 2024 syllabus. Cutoff  for JEE Advanced 2024

IIT JEE results and the JEE Advanced Cut-off 2024 will be made public simultaneously. The previous year's JEE Advanced Cutoff for CRL was 6.83% for each subject and 23.89% overall. The JEE Advanced Cutoff for OBC was 6.15% in each subject and 21.50% overall.

 JoSAA will make announcements regarding the IIT JEE cut-off ranks and JEE Advanced qualifying percentile via the official website, josaa.admissions.nic.in. These cutoff ranks will fall within the field minimum ranks that applicants must meet to be admitted to IITs.

A JEE Advanced 2024 score of 80 or higher is considered good. However, candidates need to aim for 320+ marks in IIT JEE to get AIR 1. JEE Advanced Cutoffs for Electrical Engineering and CSE at IIT Bombay were 481 and 67, respectively, in 2023.
 

 

Admit Card for JEE Advanced 2024

 It will be made available for download on May 17, 2024, through IIT Madras' official website, jeeadv.ac.in. Admit cards will be sent to qualified candidates who finish their registration by the deadline. The registration number, birth date, and mobile number are required for retrieving the admit card. The admit card will include all the important details, like the exam date, time, and location. On the day of the exam, candidates must have their admit card with them. The date of the JEE Advanced 2024 exam is set for May 26, 2024.

Selection Process for JEE Advanced 2024

The candidate must rank among the top 2,50,000 (all categories combined) finishers in the JEE (Main) 2024 B.E./B.Tech. paper. 10% of GEN-EWS candidates, 27% of OBC-NCL candidates, 15% of SC candidates, 7.5% of ST candidates, and the remaining 40.5% of OPEN candidates are the categories of candidates that will be shortlisted.

All other information, including the minimum JEE Main scores needed to be eligible for JEE Advanced 2024, will be released soon. Typically, individuals who place in the top 2.5 lakh in JEE Main are qualified to take the JEE Advanced exam. Candidates may make two consecutive appearances in JEE Advanced.

Result for JEE Advanced 2024

The JEE Advanced 2024 dates indicate that on May 17, the admit card will be distributed. On June 2, IIT Madras will release the tentative answer keys, and on June 9, JEE Advanced Result 2024 will be announced. The AAT 2024 exam is scheduled for June 12 with results expected to be released on June 15.
