UP Police ASI Eligibility Criteria 2021

Notification for UP Police ASI Recruitment 2021: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has issued a notification extending the start and end dates for online applications. Police from the state of Uttar Pradesh From May 15, 2021, online applications will be accepted for the positions of Police Sub-Inspector (Confidential), Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police (Clerk), and Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police (Accounts). On or before June 15, qualified and interested candidates can apply for UP Recruitment 2021 on the official website - uppbpb.gov.in.

There are a total of 1329 openings, with 624 for UP Police Clerk, 358 for UP Police Accounts, and 295 for Police Sub-Inspector (Confidential).
Before the exam application deadline, candidates must have the requisite degree, certificate, and records. The following is a list of the minimum educational requirements:

UP SI & ASI 2021 Eligibility Criteria: Education Qualification

For UP Sub-Inspector of Police (Confidential)

• Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized university
• Should have a Hindi typing speed of 25 WPM & English typing speed of 30 WPM
• Also, should be able to type 8 WPM in Stenographer Hindi and passed ‘O’ level certificate in DOEACC/ NIELIT

For UP Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police (Clerk)

• Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized university or institute
• The candidate should have a Hindi typing speed of 25 WPM and English typing speed of 30 WPM and passed ‘O’ level certificate in DOEACC/ NIELIT

For UP Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police (Accounts)

• Candidates should have a graduation degree in accounts or commerce
• Candidates need to have a typing speed of 15 WPM and must have obtained ‘O’ level certificate in DOEACC/ NIELIT
• UP SI & ASI 2021 Eligibility Criteria: Nationality
• Candidate applying for UP SI & ASI should fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
• Must be a citizen of India OR
• A Tibetan refugee who moved to India before 1962, to settle down permanently in India
• A person with Indian origin who has moved from Burma, Pakistan, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Zambia, Ethiopia, Zaire, and Vietnam with intention of settling down permanently in India OR
• A subject of Bhutan or Nepal

UP SI & ASI 2021 Eligibility Criteria: Age Limit
The candidate's age must be between 21 and 28 years old, according to the announcement. He or she must be 21 years old as of July 1, 2021, and not have been born before July 1, 1993, or after July 1, 2000. Candidates would, however, be granted age relaxation in accordance with government guidelines. In the table below, you'll find more information about the age relaxation:
