  • The online test for RRB NTPC 2021 CBT 2 examination had been rescheduled to be conducted from 15th to 19th February 2022 to recruit 35,281 (Revised) vacancies.

  • Candidates should be between 18 to 30 years of age to be eligible for RRB NTPC Exam.

RRB NTPC Eligibility Criteria 

RRB has set the  RRB NTPC Eligibility Criteria based on the following parameters:
  • Nationality
  • Age Limit
  • Educational Qualification
  • Medical Standards

Candidates should go through the eligibility criteria and understand it thoroughly before applying for the exam. The details of each of these parameters are given below:

RRB NTPC Eligibility Criteria: Nationality

A candidate must be
  1. An Indian citizen
  2. A subject of Nepal or Bhutan
  3. A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 to permanently settle in India
  4. A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with to permanently settle in India.
This RRB NTPC Eligibility is the same as central government rules.

RRB NTPC Eligibility Criteria: Age Limit

Candidates who are applying for Undergraduate posts much be between 18 to 30 years of age. Candidates who are applying for Graduate posts much be between 18 to 33 years of age. There is age relaxation provided to the candidates, the RRB NTPC Eligibility  age relaxation details are as follows:

Traffic Assistant

Commercial cum Ticket Clerk

12th or equivalent with at least 50% of marks. 50% marks is not required for SC/ST/PwD/Ex-Servicemen category candidates.

Account Clerk cum Typist

12th or equivalent with at least 50% of marks. 50% marks is not required for SC/ST/PwD/Ex-Servicemen category candidates.

Candidates must have typing proficiency in English / Hindi

Junior Clerk Cum Typist

12th or equivalent with at least 50% of marks. 50% marks is not required for SC/ST/PwD/Ex-Servicemen category candidates.

Candidates must have typing proficiency in English / Hindi

Junior Time Keeper

12th or equivalent with at least 50% of marks. 50% marks is not required for SC/ST/PwD/Ex-Servicemen category candidates.

Candidates must have typing proficiency in English / Hindi

Trains Clerk 

12th or equivalent with at least 50% of marks. 50% marks is not required for SC/ST/PwD/Ex-Servicemen category candidates.

The candidate must be Physically fit in all respects.

  • Distant Vision: 6/6,6/9 without glasses(No Fogging Test)
  • Near Vision:Sn 0.6, 0.6 without or with glasses and must pass tests for colour vision, Myopic vision, Night Vision, and Binocular Vision.

A-3

The candidate must be Physically fit in all respects.

  • Distant Vision: 6/6,6/9 without or with glasses(Power of lenses should not exceed 2D)
  • Near Vision:Sn 0.6, 0.6 without or with glasses and must pass tests for colour vision, Myopic vision, Night Vision, and Binocular Vision.

B-2

The candidate must be Physically fit in all respects.

  • Distant Vision: 6/6,6/12 without or with glasses(Power of lenses should not exceed 4D)
  • Near Vision: Sn 0.6, 0.6 without or with glasses when close work is required or while reading. And must pass the test for the field of vision (Binocular Vision) etc.

C-2

The candidate must be Physically fit in all respects.

  • Distant Vision: 6/12, Nill without or with glasses.
  • Near Vision: Sn 0.6, 0.6 without or with glasses while reading or close work is required.
