Natural disasters are natural events that cause the loss of life and property. Sometimes hundreds and thousands are killed and millions of land and property get destroyed. Disaster is an undesirable occurrence resulting from forces that are largely outside human control. Disasters in general and natural disasters, in particular, are some such changes that are always disliked and feared by humankind. Disasters also caused by some human activities are some activities carried by human beings that are directly responsible for disasters.

Sections of Natural Disaster

Identification and classification of disasters are considered effective and scientific steps to deal promptly and efficiently with the disaster. Certain types of natural disasters are more likely to occur in particular parts of the world. Here we are representing some categories of natural disasters. Examples- are floods, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, drought, wildfires, landslides, etc.

Earthquake 

An earthquake is the result of a sudden release of energy in the earth's crust that creates seismic waves listed at the Earth's surface earthquakes manifest themselves by vibration, shaking, and sometimes displacement of the ground. Earthquakes are caused by slippage within geological faults. The underground point of origin of the earthquake is called the seismic focus. Our planet has been affected by many strong earthquakes of different magnitudes which have led to the loss of many innocent people and caused great damage to property. Earthquakes can result in fires. This happens because earthquakes damage the electric power and gas lines above all it becomes extremely difficult to stop a fire once it begins.

Landslide

The movement of the rocks or debris ATC on a slope downward is called a landslide. It is a type of mass wasting which refers to the movement of any mass soil or rocks under the influence of Gravity. It is one of the natural Hazara and can be a disaster if the damages occur in large amounts. A landslide is an uncontrollable Downhill flow of rock or debris. They destroy Railway lines and roads there will be a loss of natural resources. Landslides also block rivers and increase the risk of floods. Loss of life also can be seen due to landslides. There are some classifications of landslides.

Flood

Flood is one of the highly devastating natural calamities. It is a regular phenomenon in India every year thousands of lives are lost in floor lacks people are rendered homeless. Load occurs due to continuous heavy rainfall and excessive rain overload the canals and rivers become full and the water overflows the banks. Flood causes great damage to the paddy fields,  mode built houses and crops, people and cattle all lose their lives, and people suffer from unspeakable miseries. Many parts of the world are getting affected by floats. Every year diseases like cholera break out as the drinking water becomes dirty.

Drought 

Drought is the condition when there is an acute shortage of water it affects humans animals plants and the climate drop leads to falling in agricultural production rivers waves and hand pumps dry up there is a lack of food and water the most common cause of the drop is no rainfall though it is a natural process many human activities are also responsible for it heavy deforestation leads to laser amount of rainfall when there are no plants the soil is not able to hold the rainwater. The most affected areas in India are the parts of Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh Maharashtra, Kerala, and Uttar Pradesh.

Volcanic Eruption

A volcanic eruption occurs when hot materials from the earth's interior are thrown out of a volcano. Lava, rocks, dust, and gas compounds are some of these "ejecta". Eruptions can come from side branches or from the top of the volcano several more Complex types of hot Lava and volcanic eruptions have been described by volcanologists.
